Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Ultimate+

Ultimate+ pedals are the premium offering from Netherlands based Heusinkveld Engineering. For those of you who aren't familiar with Heusinkveld, they are well established as one of the, if not the leading sim racing pedal manufacturers globally. They have a very small product range, essentially consisting of just 5 core products, which they do extremely well.

If you are a pro driver or sim racer looking for the best in pedal feel, consistency and adjustability then the Heusinkveld Ultimate+ pedals might just be the pedals for you.

Key Features at a glance:

  • Unrivalled geometry adjustment
  • Hydraulic damping and adjustable preload on each pedal.
  • 200kg loadcell
  • Heusinkveld SmartControl software for an instant and accurate response with endless possibilities to configure pedal output.
  • Worldwide shipping
  • 2 Years Manufacturers Warranty
  • Official Heusinkveld Distributors

Manufacturers Description:
SmartControl compatible controller. The Sim Pedals Ultimate+ are powered by Heusinkveld SmartControl.

You can now easily calibrate your pedals, adjust output curves and deadzones and create, store and share multiple profiles. In this video Enzo explains how this is done.

The controller has a new all metal casing. The complete pedal system including the electronics has passed EMC compliance testing, guaranteeing a stable output signal under all circumstances.

All new progressive brake springs
New custom made Heusinkveld injection molded thermoset elastomers are installed on the brake pedal. These new springs are a Heusinkveld-specific development and have been tested to have zero performance degradation even after one million duty cycles. You can look forward to an unprecedented progressive brake feel, a smooth and responsive operation and firm bump and rebound characteristics.
Hard and soft elastomers of different lengths are supplied. You have a total of 9 possible resistance settings on the brake, ranging from extremely hard to very soft. We also added a knurled knob to the brake spring stack for easy adjustment of the pedal preload.
The Sim Pedals Ultimate+ retain their realistic linear brake force measurement, just as seen on real cars. You have the option to set nonlinear output curves in SmartControl.

Improved smoothness and durability
We have added slide bearings to major load bearing pivot points in order to improve pedal smoothness, reduce unwanted noise and greatly enhance the durability of the pedals.

Bespoke hydraulic dampers
Heusinkveld now uses custom made 1-way (throttle) and 2-way (brake, clutch) dampers to simulate the hydraulic damping effect as seen on real clutch, brake and (sometimes) throttle assemblies. The option to adjust the amount of damping is still present.
These new dampers, having gone through extreme durability testing, further enhance reliability and retain their maintenance-free characteristics. Even in the unlikely case of a damper failure, because we use a separate load cell to measure force or position, the pedals will still retain their core functionality.

Revised sensor mounts
We’ve implemented black mounts of a more durable material for the load cell actuator springs and the load cell mounts on the throttle and clutch. These replace the former acrylic mounts and improve long term reliability.
Color updates
At Heusinkveld form (almost) always follows function. We now however do provide black powder coated metal coil springs, black brake spring elastomers and black bearings on certain pivot points. It makes the integration of the Sim Pedals Ultimate+ onto your own sim rig just look that bit better.

Enhance your simulator experience. Heusinkveld presents some of the highest quality, most adjustable and most realistic feeling pedals on the market: Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Ultimate+. Trusted by world class GT, single seater and Esports drivers, this high-end pedal set can be used in the most demanding environments. Capable of simulating pedal loads as high as in real GT and F1 cars.

Engineering

Designed with CAD and FEA, all structural parts are CNC precision laser cut stainless steel with a glass bead blasted finish. The pedals are strong, stiff, compact and durable. Mathematical models were made to calculate pedal travel and operation force, predicting with great accuracy how each pedal feels in every possible configuration.
Design tolerances have been optimized in order to have a minimal amount of play on every assembly. All key pivot points have slide bearings and have gone through automated durability testing to guarantee their functionality after a million duty cycles.
The custom made brake elastomers provide a realistic progressive feel and retain their as-new characteristics even after thousands of races.

Hydraulic damping
The bespoke hydraulic dampers of the Sim Pedals Ultimate are ultra-reliable and do not require periodic maintenance. Even in the unlikely case of a failure, all hydraulic dampers can easily be removed while the pedal still retains its basic functionality as the pedal sensors are separated from the hydraulic circuit.

Sensors & output
The Sim Pedals Ultimate+ load cell assemblies provide a true linear input measurement of throttle and clutch position and brake force. Their accuracy and durability are unmatched as they do not wear over time. Heusinkveld proprietary electronics provide a full-range 12bit output for each pedal. Custom output curves can be freely configured and stored into profiles using the Heusinkveld SmartControl software.

Throttle
Smooth, accurate and greatly adjustable, the throttle pedal gives you excellent control with exactly the travel, spring preload and resistance you prefer.
The throttle features a 1-way hydraulic damper which resists speed at the ingoing stroke. This helps with smoothing the throttle application and is also used on many real cars for this purpose. The amount of damping can be adjusted.
A load cell provides a true linear input measurement of the pedal position. Custom non-linear output curves can freely be configured using Heusinkveld SmartControl software.

Brake
The brake features a realistic dual stage brake system with a 200kg load cell, capable of handling actual pedal forces up to 140kg (measured at the pedal footplate). The adjustable coil spring simulates the initial pad-to-disc gap. The main brake springs are all new custom made Heusinkveld injection molded thermoset elastomers.
These proprietary elastomers are smooth and responsive and provide an unprecedented progressive brake resistance (concave force curve) just as you would have in a real race car. On the ingoing and outgoing stroke they have firm bump and rebound characteristics.
Automated testing shows these elastomers have zero performance degradation even after one million duty cycles. You can choose from a total of 9 possible resistance settings, allowing you set set the pedal from very soft to extremely stiff.
The brake features a 2-way hydraulic damper. This damping resists speed at the ingoing and outgoing stroke just as experienced in actual brake assemblies. The amount of damping is adjustable

Clutch
A clutch feels lighter towards the end of travel. The Sim Pedals Ultimate+ clutch features a regressive spring mechanism simulating this concave force curve and also allows you to greatly adjust the pedal resistance, travel and feel.
The clutch features a 2-way hydraulic damper. This damping resists speed at the ingoing and outgoing stroke just as seen in real clutch assemblies. The amount of damping is adjustable.
A loadcell provides a true linear input measurement of the pedal position. Custom non-linear output curves can freely be configured using Heusinkveld SmartControl software.

Electronics

Heusinkeld Sim Pedals Ultimate+ use a custom made 12-bit USB controller, which works with Heusinkveld SmartControl software. After calibration every single pedal provides an output signal using the full 12-bit range, providing instant and accurate output to your favorite simulator software.
The controller enclosure is made of steel and is equipped with 4 mounting holes for easy mounting to your simulator. It can also be mounted to the underside of the optional Sim Pedals Ultimate+ Baseplate.
The pedals have passed full EMC compliance testing, guaranteeing a stable output signal regardless of other electronic components used in your simulator.

The Sim Pedals Ultimate+ come with a powerful configuration tool allowing you to set up your pedals in ways not previously possible: SmartControl. Working together with all-new electronics, SmartControl allows for instant mapping of (non-linear) pedal output curves, pedal deadzones and brake pedal force.
These adjustments can be made without having to recalibrate the pedals (including iRacing). All settings can be saved into profiles, which can be loaded again in a few mouse clicks.

Mapping pedal output curves
A key feature of SmartControl is the ability to set custom signal output maps per pedal. Traditionally race simulator pedal output has had a one-on-one sensitivity in relation to the pedal input. SmartControl allows you to map non-linear output curves using 5 zones (six input parameters).
Each pedal has a Curve Type pull-down menu with pre-defined output curves. You can also select the option to make a custom curve and manually set the desired pedal output percentage for each zone. You have complete freedom to set your own shapes.

Deadzones and brake force adjustment
SmartControl offers quick and easy adjustment of pedal deadzones. The effect of changing these adjustments can be seen visually and realtime. Also the required brake force to get 100% brake output in your simulator can be set in a few mouse clicks.

Profiles
There is support for an unlimited amount of profiles within SmartControl. Saving and loading a profile is done in a few mouse clicks. Because profile data is saved relative to your calibration values, it is possible to exchange pedal profiles between Sim Pedals Ultimate+ owners.
Calibration wizard
Your Sim Pedals Ultimate+ are pre-calibrated during assembly and can be used as a plug&play device. All adjustments in SmartControl can be made without having to recalibrate the pedals.
In case you do need to recalibrate (for example after making certain mechanical adjustments to the pedals), SmartControl has an easy to follow calibration wizard.

Brexit

the UK are no longer a part of the European Union (EU), and this changes howmainland UK (England, Scotland & Wales)based consumers buy product from EU based stores like ours.

Our website now displays all prices excluding VAT and no longer charges you VAT on orders shipping to mainland UK.

Customers will however be liable for 20% UK VAT which will be charged to you by HMRC (customs) and collected by our shipping agents (DHL) when the shipment enters the UK. You will be contacted by them to complete the payment, usually by text message. DHL also charge a small handling fee which is 2.5% of the VAT and a minimum of £11.00.

This will be the case when you order from any company based in the EU. If you order from a UK based company they will display vat on their website and charge you the 20% VAT directly on the order. So whether you buy from an EU based store or a UK based store you will be paying more or less the same total price on the product.

If you are a VAT registered business in the UK there is no need to enter your VAT number.

Warranty:
If you experience any issues with products that are still under warranty, you must first contact us via email to Support@Digital-Motorsports.com. We will endeavour to help fix the problem with you prior to contacting the manufacturer. If we cannot fix the problem, the products must be returned to our warehouse, including details such as the serial number and any supporting pictures or video available.
Digital Motorsports will issue you with a return label and will cover the cost of return.
We will then work with the manufacturer to rectify the issue for you as quickly as possible. Please note, we do not issue replacements for any items under warranty until the manufacturer has repaired or replaced the item and shipped it back to us. If the manufacturer deems the issue not covered under warranty, you will be billed for any inbound and outbound shipping fees due to return the item to you.
We offer a full 2-year manufacturer’s warranty on all products unless otherwise stated. Product warranties are bound to the first purchaser and are not transferable.

Returns:
Here at Digital-Motorsports.com we like to make things as easy as possible, if you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, you can return it free of any admin or handling charges. Please note that we do not cover the cost of return postage. If you are within Southern Ireland, you can drop the package to your local Post Office or Simply follow the steps on returnmyshopping.ie. If you are located outside Ireland, we suggest using your national postal service to return the goods. If the goods do not reach us we are not in a position to exchange or refund the item. When will the Fanatec CSL DD be available?

Fanatec's entry level CSL DD range is hugely popular and is without question the best value entry level direct drive wheelbase on the market.

Fanatec have priced the unit as competetively as possible and as such they cannot offer discount to their resellers (ie Digital Motorsports) on this product range. In addition to that Fanatec to not allow us to purchase the CSL DD range with exception of the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro Premium Version.

This product is available periodically in limited numbers but we still do not get discount on it from Fanatec. As such we have to price the Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro Premium Version above Fanatec's RRP as we have to import the product from Germany.

Customs Taxes & Import Duty

Digital Motorsports are based in the EU and our website displays prices either with or without our local VAT rate of 23% depending on your country. (based on your ip address)

For countries in the EU we display prices including 23% VAT.
For countries outside the EU (including the UK) we display prices excluding 23% VAT.

For countries outside the EU you should be aware that you may be liable for import duties. You will need to contact your local authority to get an estimate of how much it will be, as it varies between countries and states. The commodity code or HS code we use for all our products is 9504500000 which is the globally recognised code for computer games and accessories.

Customers from the UK do not pay import duties but pay the usual 20% UK VAT rate to HMRC. To make the process simpler, this is collected by the courier (DHL) before delivery, so you should expect a message from DHL requesting payment of 20% of your order value.

Brexit

the UK are no longer a part of the European Union (EU), and this changes howmainland UK (England, Scotland & Wales)based consumers buy product from EU based stores like ours.

If you have any questions/queries please do not hesitate to contact us at info@digital-motorsports.com

Is XYZ product in stock?

For items that are out of stock, you can click the green button in the bottom right corner of the screen that says 'EMAIL WHEN AVAILABLE' and enter your email address to be notified when the item becomes available again.

In some instances we may offer pre-order on certain products. If we have a pre-order on a product, lead times/dispatch dates will be clearly indicated in the product title and description
